ey, you know how to link na! at last! there is hope yet for all of us. and i love the mother piece. it is very alive and lively. klaro kaayo ang image ug boses sa imong mom. ug ang bata nga larry! and this is the cebu i remember! init ug hinay tanan. even the bump cars at merry mart! the sales clerks at the old rustans! plus ro-bee stickers which always only had my siblings' names on them, and never mine. haha. kakamiss.
Init ug hinay tanan!! hahahahahaha Yes. Apparently, this is also the Cebu that a lot of people remember. Got some reader responses to this one. From not-the-usual suspects.
When a piece on Cebu becomes an excuse to write about one's mom, which is really an excuse to write about the dresses in Gaw! hahaha
"Bullfighting, it seems to me, gives us a clue. Kill the beast by all means, they say, but make it a contest, a ritual, and honour your antagonist for his strength adn bravery. eat him too, after you have vanquished him. Look him in the eyes before you kill him, and thank him afterwards. Sing songs about him.
